flip flop hooray!

I’m a sucker for a good story. And a cute pair of shoes. So Planet Flops had me at “Hello.” Dr. Sylvie, a Beverly Hills podiatrist, founded the company last year after searching the globe for an eco-chic flip flop. Flops are made in Brazil from natural brazilian rubber (that means it comes from a tree, not a test tube!) and the trees aren’t harmed at all in the harvesting process. You know they’re comfy, because a podiatrist says so. And hey, they’re flip flops, and that’s the whole point. They come in beautiful colors too. My fave, Chocolate/Strawberry, is pictured above, but I had to order a basic black “Licorice” pair too.

Trees are happy, feet are happy. My closet is happy. It’s a good day.
