Manifesto

We believe that, with determination and desire, a mom has the power to solve any problem and effectively lead her family to success.

We believe that you deserve a life that isn’t solely about “surviving ‘til bedtime,” and that life is within your reach.

We believe that working moms instill in their children a desire to strive for their own personal growth and fulfillment.

We believe that moms should embrace (not question) their work/life choices, so they can stop competing and start supporting one another.

We believe that marketing terms like “slacker mom” and “alpha mom” serve only to divide women at a time when they need eachother most.

We believe that smart moms ask for help often, and we buck the notion that superior mothers are those who can do everything on their own.

We believe that the notion of perfection in motherhood will haunt you until you learn to let it go.

We believe that no two moms are alike. Your choices are as unique as you are, and your own intuition is usually what’s best for your family.

We believe that guilt is corrosive to good parenting. When you eschew the opinions of others and follow your own intuition, you can really live life for you.

We believe that emotional wellness, good diet and exercise are essential to good parenting and a healthy family.

We also believe that kids can have ice cream for dinner every now and then... we promise no one will perish.

We believe that it’s easy to lose yourself under piles of laundry, diapers and bottles. When you get reacquainted with yourself, motherhood becomes celebratory, not mundane.

We believe that it’s okay— in fact, it’s imperative— to take some “me time” every now and then. Take good care of yourself and you will avoid burn-out and resentment.

We believe that you have as much to learn from your children as they do from you.

We believe that inside every mom there’s a dream to live life with passion and purpose (and to wear lingerie again).
