Meet Coach Carley

Carley Knobloch is the founder of Mothercraft, a life and career coaching company that empowers moms to thrive in their personal lives, careers and relationships. She is a certified life coach, author, workshop leader, business consultant and busy work-at-home mother.

Carley received her professional training through the Life Purpose Institute, a program accredited by the International Coach Federation and one of the oldest and most highly regarded coach training programs in the industry. Her unique coaching style embraces tenets of eastern philosophy and mind/body science, and she specializes in meal planning and home/office organization.

Through her successful Life Coaching practice, Carley coaches women in many different stages of motherhood, from pregnancy through childbirth, from toddlerhood to teens. Through Mothercraft, she focuses on supporting mothers not only in their role as "caregiver," but in their growth, development and fulfillment. To reach moms with a wide variety of budgets and schedules, Knobloch offers one-on-one consultations as well as teleclasses, corporate speaking engagements, and group workshops. First and foremost, she embraces every mother's unique life situation with her "there is no one right way" mantra. Her nurturing parenting philosophy and relentless support and encouragement help her clients build the confidence they need to make lasting lifestyle changes. Whether it's a working mom who seeks balance between career and parenthood, or a stay-at-home mom who has lost her sense of self, she uses a proven process of self-discovery, value assessment and empowerment to help them find success on their own terms.

Educating her clients about the link between diet and wellness is an integral part of Knobloch's focus at Mothercraft. As a passionate amateur cook, she helps her clients reevaluate their attitudes toward food and mealtime rituals, offering meal planning strategies and tips for creating healthy eating habits. She plans to offer a series of classes that will examine common blocks to healthy eating and cooking and inject some excitement about good food in moms and kids alike. She is also a proponent of naturopathy, and has experienced first-hand the effects of nutrition on physical and emotional wellbeing. After doctors diagnosed her with an "incurable" autoimmune disease, she cured her own illness and reversed all her symptoms through a restricted diet, supplements, yoga & meditation. She educates mothers on the positive effects of "whole foods" and the "energy drainers" in our diets that affect our parenting.

Carley is dedicated to charitable work that benefits mothers who are in need. She has started a series of workshops for the women at Women's Care Cottage, a facility that assists homeless women and children to find housing and employment in North Hollywood, CA. Carley connects with these women by addressing universal stumbling blocks that all women face. The first series, "Taking Responsibility For Your Life" helps participants look at negative behavior patterns, and helps them make positive, goal-driven decisions in their lives.

Carley studied Psychology at The University of Western Ontario and received her Undergraduate degree in English Literature and Composition at York University in Toronto, Canada. It was there that her love for the written word flourished, and she continues to write as a means of creative expression. She writes for various online and print publications about the art of successful parenting and finding passion in your life.

She lives in Los Angeles with Mike, her husband of 10 years, her 6 year-old son Spencer, 2 year-old daughter Annie and English Springer Spaniel, Sophie.
